Lisa  takes Snickers to various schools (K-12) and churches to share his heart touching story of how he was abused, ran away, dashed under her van, and was nearly killed.

(The full version of Lisa's award-winning story was published in Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul, 2005--read excerpt).

Snickers story also shows kids the dangers in running away from their parents, but on the other hand, that sometimes it's important to run--like when a stranger tries to grab them or when they're being abused.

"Take A Bite Out Of Abuse" will not only deal with child abuse and bullying, but also dating abuse, neglect, and even animal safety.
