much more than that, both coming from abusive, sinful pasts. But look at
what the Lord has done with their lives today!

Abuse Prevention @ SISD Head Start, Saginaw, MI / February 5th
Lisa, Snickers, and Baby Ruth shared their upbeat, fun trick
presentation along with helpful tips to help children stay safe when
facing abusive or bullying situations.
2009
We've made tracks all over Shiawassee County to raise funds for the Humane Society recently: We've been at Kroger June & July, & August, the Young Old's adoption event, the Mother's day event, in various parades, the Biggby fundraiser, the Dog Days Event in Williamstom, the Shiawassee County Fair, and the Arc Shiawassee. And it's paid off--we raised over $5,000 in funds which also counted as votes for Snickers who won his Mayor campaign! YEAH!
- PRESENTATION--Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel-- Monday, November 9th @ 1 p.m. @ the St. Mary's Parish Hall in Morrice. Lisa & Snickers were featured locally for their anti-abuse/bullying program and for their pet therapy.
- Channel 12 News--Live-- Friday, November 6th @ 4 p.m. Lisa & Snickers were featured locally for their program and Domestic Violence as Rihanna was featured later that evening on 20/20.

Youth Event--Hope 4 Homeless Fundraiser-- Friday, November 6th @ the Nazarene Church in Owosso, 6 p.m. Lisa & Snickers have a heart for the homeless--since both were homeless themselves. Although the event was cancelled due to illness, they still raised hundreds of dollars for the SAFE HAVEN homeless SHELTER in Saginaw.
- Final Fundraiser Snickers for Mayor/Humane Society @ Kroger of Owosso, Oct. 7th & 8th. Thanks to Snickers furry friends and the communities awesome support we reached our goal and some besides! The winner of the campaign will be announced November 3rd on election day.
- Back To School Fundraiser & Bake Sale--VG's Friday, Sept. 18th Thanks to the communities support we will soon be giving back packs to needy children.
- Pet Therapy Class--September 8th-September

Certified Pet Therapists, Lisa & Snickers taught a 4-week Pet Therapy Class to teach dogs and handlers the steps to becoming certified. They had 9 graduates from the class! Lisa & Snickers also offer private training year round. For private classes click here.

The Freeman family & their Pet Therapy Group were honored with awards and ribbons for Best Novelty Unit/ Chairman's Choice/ in various parades throughout Shiawassee County.
- FUNDRAISER-- 5 K 9 Walk for People &
Dogs--to Save Humane Society & Stop Abuse
As part of Snickers Mayor Campaign, The Freeman family put on a 5 K 9 Walk for people and dogs to raise money to keep the Humane Society open and stop abuse. The walk held Aug 29 took in over $1,200!
- PRESENTATION--The Arc of Shiawassee
County
The Freeman family took their Pet Therapy and Take A Bite Out Of Abuse trick presentation to the Shiawassee Arc. on Thursday August 20th from 10-11. They had various other dogs there for the people to pet. It was one of the most fun and best times the family has ever had.
- FAIR--SHIAWASSEE COUNTY FAIR
The Freeman family took their Pet Therapy and Take A Bite Out Of Abuse trick presentation to the Shiawassee County Fair, Thursday & Saturday, August 13th & 15th the dogs performed in the FREE TENT.

DOG DAYS--Williamston
The Freeman family took Pet Therapy and Take A Bite Out Of Abuse trick presentation to the Dog Days Annual Event in Williamston, Friday & Saturday, August 7th & 8th. The dogs performed inside due to rain, but it was an amazing time.
- Easter Fundraiser--April 10th & 11th--@
Kroger of Owosso
The Freeman family, Snickers the Easter Beagle, as well as the Easter Bunny were at Kroger selling Easter Baskets and baked goods & raised several hundred dollars to help with their annual Easter Basket Giveaway to help needy, abused, and less fortunate children/families. More Info

Exchange, Owosso, MI
The Freeman family, Snickers the Easter Beagle, as well as the Easter Bunny gave away over 70 baskets to needy children and helped over 35 needy families with Easter. After Lisa shared a brief testimony and encouraging word from the Lord, Snickers and Baby Ruth performed a trick presentation to the theme of Jesus rising from the dead and 2 children got saved. - Pet Therapy Course--March 17th thru

Lisa & Snickers taught a 3-week pet therapy course entitled "How You & Your Dog Can Get Certified" through the Corunna Community Education Program. 6 owners and their dog participated and received nice awards of achievement. (Private Classes available)

County Youth Correctional Facility- February 28 th
Lisa, Snickers, Melissa, Brian, Robert & the 2 dogs, Baby & Snickers shared their stories of healing with troubled youth. At the end, Lisa presented each teen with one of her books and they got to pet the dogs.
- Healing Hearts Fundraiser--@
Kroger of Owosso--February 13th & 14th from 9-5
The Freeman family and several volunteers made & sold bake goods and sweetheart gifts. The proceeds and donations helped the needy of the community.

- Writing 101--How To Get Published

Lisa just finished up a 4-week writing course entitled "How To Get Published" through the Corunna Community Education. She will be offering other writing courses soon. Contact Corunna schools for more info or to sign up 743-6338.

The freeman family put on a benefit spaghetti dinner for the Kent Family (fire victims) @ Gi Gi's.
- Durand High School-- October 28, 2008 @ 8 a.m. Lisa taught students how to write a short story in Marci Long's English class. When finished, she shared some of her testimony and gave each of the students one of her books.
- LIVE RADIO INTERVIEW on LIFE TALK RADIO: Lisa was a special guest and discussed "How To Handle Physical Challenges" with listeners. Wednesday, October 8th, from 11:00-12:00 noon.
- Back To School Fundraiser 2008
The Freeman's gave over 40 back packs to needy children
The Freeman's took in donations of back packs and school supplies to assist needy families to go back to school. They also accepted donations of cash for their new program "Take A Bite Out Of Abuse".
- Easter Basket Giveaway 2008
The Freeman's gave away 85 Easter Baskets to needy kids
In April they held their 2nd annual Easter Basket Giveaway, helping more than 40 families and 85 children. After the trick presentation to the theme of Jesus rising from the dead, 15 children came to the altar to accept Jesus as their Savior.
