Without Funds From People Like You This Message of Hope, Healing & Life Won't Get Out
Getting Our Anti-Bullying/Abuse Workshops into the schools is one of our ministries biggest goals. But without your support, may not be able to do this. It takes money to keep this project going--to care properly for the dogs, equipment, and travel expenses. Please help us cut the cost by donating, so we can offer this program FREE to schools that are in need and just can't afford it. Lisa Freeman is also in desperate need of sponsorship for her non-profit ministry (A Time To Heal) so that she can publish four other books in the "Run Series" to not only help teens, but parents and educators.
And her parent/teen handbooks
These books will not only help teens, but they will reach out to parents. Being a troubled teen once herself, Lisa is now a mother of four teens, so she understands both sides of the spectrum. Since she has a unique closeness and bond with her teens, she feels that she can offer parents that helpful insight that is so often overlooked in parent/teen relationships. The parent/teen handbooks can be used either individually, in a group study, or in a parent/teen study. Each chapter will be written with the same theme to incorporate discussion so teens and parents can work out trouble areas. Lisa also believes these helpful books will unveil hidden truths that parents can use to see warning signs in their teens. And teens will clearly see that running away is NEVER the answer. Aside from the inspiration teens will gain from the Run For Your Life Series, they will realize how to say no to peer pressure, pre-marital sex, and run in a new direction. Through Lisa’s powerful story of hope and survival teens will also be inspired to live more positive lives and be able to hopefully bridge that communication gap between them and their parents. With so many teens going the wrong way in life, (getting pregnant, joining gangs, living on the streets, running away & getting sucked into prostitution or drugs) it is critical that we show them how to run to life, not to all these other things that will only cut their life short. Through sponsors like you, Lisa will be able to take this message of hope and life to hurting wounded families all over the US and even distribute free copies to those in detention facilities, battered woman’s shelters, and prisons. Each book costs thousands of dollars just to print, let alone the cost of packaging, sending, and distributing.
