From Heart Disease & Verbal Abuse
Brian was only born with 2 chambers in his heart. Doctors said it would be a miracle if he lived to be a year old. Today Brian is 21 years old, has graduated with honors from high school, and shares his healing testimony abroad.
He's nearly died more times than I can count, has been through 8 surgeries, has a artificial aortic valve, a pacemaker, and is currently on the heart transplant list. Yet, he is full of faith, life, and love for others.
It wasn't always this way. Brian was sexually abused by his biological father and suffered a lot of bullying from kids at school due to his physical limitations. During his teen years when he wasn't able to do the normal things teens his age could do, he fell into a deep depression and bitterness.
Thankfully, God healed his spiritual heart too! And now he's full of love, compassion, and has a great outlook on life.
Currently Brian helps with the dogs in our ministry. He ministers to others through Pet Therapy, his testimony, and his hilarious sense of humor. He loves to cook and hopes to go to chef school. One day he hopes to design Christian video games for kids.
